A reputable collector of Olympic relics and artefacts, Ingrid O’Neil’s selection of unique and interesting pieces are definitely worth noticing for any serious collectors. From rare Official Olympic torches to Participation Medals and pins, her latest auction that closed on March 28, 2015 saw the highest prices sold for Winner’s Medals.

The highest lot sold for $49,501 a Squaw Valley 1960 Gold Medal for the Skating event. Made of gold-plated silver by the Herff Jones Co., this rare medal showcased the first Olympic Games that featured the name of the event on the winner’s medals. The next highest lots sold for $46,585 (a very rare Chamonix 1924 gold-plated silver First Place Medal), and $39,325 (a Sochi 2014 Silver Winner’s Medal).
